Welcome to my academic homepage. I’m a professor of quantitative analytics at Wesleyan University, where I teach courses in applied data analysis, machine learning, pattern recognition, data journalism, and statistical software development.

I’ve also created a website called Quick-R, for rapidly learning the R language. I’m currently working on the 3rd edition of R in Action and hope to complete it this year.
